Description: The Lee County School System is searching for candidates for a High School Band Director. Applicants must be a legitimate candidate for Alabama Teaching Certificate, highly qualified in instrumental music. Advanced degree in music education preferred. Previous experience as a head band director preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a high level of musicianship, superior conducting skills, and the ability to form strong, positive connections with middle and high school students. The Lee County Schools’ band program includes a competitive marching band, concert bands, pep bands, and jazz ensembles. Choral music is also a part of the teaching assignment. There are two positions – Beulah High School and Loachapoka High School.
