Welcome to the official website of the Alabama Music Educators Association. Membership in the AMEA is open to all public, private, and post-secondary music educators as well as private teachers. AMEA provides in-service opportunities for its members and educational opportunities for the music students in our state. Members of our organization strive to ensure the future of music education. Recruitment, rejuvenation, and retention are key in helping to continue providing superior music education in Alabama. These are the foundations upon which our organization will continue to grow.
